1. General Terms & Conditions of Stay

By making a reservation, checking in, entering, or staying at The Shoals Cottages & RV Park (“Park,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Guest,” “you,” “your”) agree to abide by all Terms & Conditions, Park Policies, and rules set forth on this page and any signs or notices posted on the property.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not stay at or use the facilities of Tuscumbia RV Park.

1.1 Eligibility

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to book and stay, or accompanied by a legal guardian.
A valid government-issued photo ID and valid payment method may be required at check-in.

1.2 Right to Refuse Service

Tuscumbia RV Park reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse service, cancel a reservation, or remove any Guest, visitor, or vehicle from the property for violation of these Terms & Conditions, unsafe behavior, or for any other lawful reason, without refund.

2. Reservations, Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 Reservations & Deposits

Reservations may be made online, by phone, or in person (when available).
A valid credit/debit card is required to secure a booking.
Some reservations may require a deposit or full prepayment at time of booking.

2.2 Payment

All site fees, taxes, and applicable charges must be paid in full as specified during booking or at check-in.
We accept major credit or debit cards and other payment methods listed on our booking platform.
All prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

2.3 Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation and modification policies (including deadlines and fees) are described at the time of booking and on your confirmation email.
Guests are responsible for reviewing and understanding the specific cancellation policy attached to their reservation.
Late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, and weather-related changes are generally not eligible for refunds unless expressly stated.

2.4 No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date and fail to contact us within the specified time window, your reservation may be treated as a no-show and may be cancelled without refund.

3. Check-In, Check-Out & Site Occupancy

3.1 Check-In & Check-Out Times

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee and only with prior approval.

3.2 Site Occupancy

Each RV site has a maximum occupancy limit (people and vehicles) as specified at booking.
Exceeding the occupancy limits without prior approval may result in additional charges or termination of stay.
Only registered Guests and their registered vehicles are allowed to occupy the site.

3.3 Guests & Visitors

Visitors must be registered at the office if required, follow all Park rules, and depart by the posted visitor hours.
The registered Guest is responsible for the conduct of all visitors and anyone on their site.

4. Park Rules & Guest Responsibilities

4.1 Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from [Insert Quiet Hours, e.g., 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM].
During quiet hours, noise must be kept to a minimum. Please be respectful of your neighbors at all times.

4.2 Vehicles & Parking

All vehicles must be properly registered, insured, and operated by licensed drivers.

Parking is allowed only in designated areas or on your assigned site.
No repair work or fluid changes may be performed on vehicles or RVs in the Park without management approval.

4.3 RV & Site Conditions

RVs and setups must be in safe, working condition and visually acceptable at management’s discretion.
Keep your site clean and tidy; do not store excessive items outside.
No permanent structures or modifications may be made to the site without written permission.

4.4 Fires & Grills

Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings or approved containers and may be restricted during burn bans or hazardous conditions.
Never leave fires unattended. Extinguish all fires completely before leaving or going to sleep.

4.5 Alcohol, Smoking & Substances

Guests must comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol and controlled substances.
Public intoxication, disorderly conduct, or illegal drug use is not tolerated and may result in immediate removal without refund.
Smoking is prohibited in buildings and any posted “No Smoking” areas. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.

4.6 Pets

Friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome in designated areas and must be leashed and under control at all times when outside your RV.
Guests must clean up after their pets immediately and dispose of waste properly.
Aggressive animals, excessive barking, or failure to follow pet rules may result in removal of the pet or termination of stay.

4.7 Prohibited Activities

No illegal activities of any kind.
No fireworks, firearms, explosives, or weapons may be used or displayed in the Park, except as allowed by law and expressly permitted by management.
No harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior toward other guests or staff.

5. Risk, Liability & Indemnification

5.1 Assumption of Risk

By entering and staying at The Shoals Cottages & RV Park, you acknowledge that camping, RVing, outdoor activities, and the use of Park facilities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, wildlife encounters, and weather-related events. You agree that you assume all risks related to your stay.

5.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Shoals Cottages & RV Park, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for:

Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from your use of the Park and its facilities;
Theft, loss, or damage to your vehicles, RV, personal property, or equipment;
Interruption or failure of utilities, Wi-Fi, or other services.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

5.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Shoals Cottages & RV Park, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to:

Your stay and use of the Park;
The actions or omissions of you, your family members, guests, visitors, or pets;
Any breach of these Terms & Conditions.

6. Website Terms of Use

If you use our website and online booking system, you also agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Not use the website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the website or its servers.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

7. Privacy Policy
